Message From the President

A big thank you goes out to Luis & Sarah Rena for their generous donation of "Elvis" a beautiful solid black 4 year old registered paint gelding, and "Faith" a kind sorrel 10/11 year old Quarter horse mare.

Faith has already found a home with our newest FSS members Whitney and Dan Lewis.  Whitney has started riding Faith, and has big plans for her.  Faith is kept with the FSS horses at Laurel Ridge Sport Horses LLC in Temecula.

Sad news for those who know the FSS minis.  "Mynie Goldstein" had to be put down due to a mis-diagnosis.  Poor little Mynie was only five, but was loved by dozens of children, and adults.  His herd misses him, and I know he is in horsey heaven.  :(

Our FSS show was a fun one!  We would like to thank those who attended, and especially those who helped set up and take down the show.  Judge Ted Lange was the best!  He is always so upbeat and fun.  Members Jackie G., and Whitney L. had a great time showing the FSS fjords.  This was Jackie's first show on horseback, and Whitney's first show in CA.  So proud of you girls.  Whitney got to use her new horse Faith in the costume class.  She settled in so easy, and was ridden bareback with feathers and paint all over her.  Good job all!  If anyone has any show photos please email them to me for posting on our site.

Our FSS show couldn't happen without the help of friends, members, and family.  Behind the scenes was Vickie Fulkowski in Registration, Jackie G. and family with set up and take down, Whitney and dad Dan with set up and take down, mom Karen C., daughter Renea C., and friend with set up, a multitude of tasks, and take down (lifesavers all day!!!), Mallory Thompson and friends with training, set up and take down, Kathy Househoulder with great arena prep., my mom Patsy Woellhof with the food set up and prep, and if I have forgotten anyone please forgive me.  A big thank you goes out to those in attendance. Trainer Shannon brought a great group from Murrieta.  We hope to see more of her students and future shows.

Jayne
